What is it? Passion Flower is a flower grown in North, Central, and South America. The leaves, stems, and flowers are all used for medicinal purposes. Medical use of the herb did not begin until the late 19th century, and then was mostly used for a mild sedative. It is used to treat gastrointestinal spasms, and restlessness. It is also used for Anxiety and Insomnia. Basically it is used primarily on the nervous system, particularly for anxiety due to worry, and overwork.
