Originally called Campanelle, which means “little bell” in Italian, Trumpets are a unique and visually appealing pasta shape. Directions Cooking instructions: in a large pot, heal four quarts of salted water and bring to a boil. Add the pasta and stir. Cook for six to seven minutes, stiring occasionally and then strain. Reserve two to three tablespoons of pasta water to add to your sauce.
